Aiken Prep Fest

Prep Fest Mission is to improve the lives of children in the CSRA emotionally, environmentally, and educationally through a live music and family-safe entertainment event.

ESTABLISHED IN 2010 Prep Fest was born in 2010 out of an earnest and genuine collaboration of four key people devoted to the CSRA's many non-profit activities, to Aiken Prep School and to music.

FOUNDERS Joanne Gunnell, Development Director for Aiken Preparatory School. Marsy McFerren, communication expert in publicity and radio. Jesse Colin Young, internationally recognized performer. Connie Young, performer, Aiken Prep Board member and community leader.

GATES OPEN at 3:30PM

Prep Fest will become the premiere family music festival for the CSRA.
Prep Fest will develop business partnerships to create funding sources in support of:
- Aiken Preparatory School (major benefactor and host location)
- Golden Harvest Food Bank
- Other child-focused 501 (c) (3) non-profits as selected on a yearly basis
Prep Fest will provide advertising opportunities to audiences of upwards of 1,500 to 3,000 people on site and a pre-publicity potential of 50,000 to 100,000 people or more.
Prep Fest will allow young performers to share the stage with more established performers, building artistic bridges and opportunities.
Prep Fest will create learning opportunities for the general audience, as well as students in the CSRA, creating a more conscious and compassionate community.
Prep Fest will build educational bridges with various ethnic communities to strengthen our communication and
enrich our lives.
